Scottish Whisky Distilleries
Scottish whisky is known across the world for its unique and smooth taste. Rooted in centuries of distilling, whisky is a proud part of our cultural identity and is the perfect drink to warm your chest on a cold Scottish night.
A sample of whiskys from all the distilleries mentioned are stocked in our hotel bar for guests to enjoy after a day’s adventure.
Clynelish Distillery
Just five minutes from our Hotel, Clynelish is one of the most northerly distilleries in Scotland. First opened in 1819, the distillery still operates today using the original distilling method. Spring water is taken from the Clynemilton Burn which runs over seams of gold embedded in the rocks of the nearby hills. The results are a deliciously fruity, slightly smoky, single malt Scotch Whisky.
